Ghana Boosts Agriculture with Onion, Tomato Purchase & Coconut Drive
The Government of Ghana has started buying onions and tomatoes directly from local farmers to support its Feed Ghana Programme, aimed at boosting food security and reducing post-harvest losses.
At the same time, a National Coconut Programme has been launched to promote coconut farming, create jobs, and increase export earnings. This move is part of the government’s strategy to strengthen the agriculture sector and grow the economy.
