Fancy Gadam recently expressed deep disappointment with the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) after receiving only GH₵102 as his annual royalty for radio and television airplay. He voiced his frustration on his official WhatsApp status, stating, "Ghamro the nonsense u people are doing we will not take it anymore. How can u send me 102 cedis..drop ur momo number am sending it back to you." This message underscores the broader issue of inadequate compensation for artists in Ghana, highlighting the need for more equitable and transparent royalty distribution systems within the music industry.

Below is what the artiste (Fancy Gadam) the northern music controller stated on his official WhatsApp status this today after the token was sent into his registered account. 

"Ghamro the non$ense you people are doing we will not take it anymore, 

How can you send me Gh102 cedis? Please drop your mobile money number am sending it back to you".
